The changes occurred across consulting, public policy, and quick-service restaurants, showing how organizations are restructuring leadership roles.
Infosys names CEO-designate after nearly a decade
Infosys selected Ashiss Kumar Dash as its next chief executive, the first planned transition since Salil Parekh took the role in 2018. Dash, who has spent more than three decades at the company, will become CEO and managing director on April 1, 2027, following an extended transition period that begins later this year.
An IIT Kharagpur alumnus, Dash currently leads a portfolio spanning multiple industry verticals and the company’s sustainability business. He has held leadership roles across global delivery, operations and customer-facing businesses. The board said his strategic, commercial and technology leadership experience positions him to lead Infosys through its next phase of AI-led transformation as enterprise technology spending evolves.

A public-sector pivot with tech at its core
Anurag Jain, a 1989-batch IAS officer, has assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog, succeeding B.V.R. Subrahmanyam. Jain brings extensive experience in infrastructure, industrial policy and public administration, having served in several key roles at both the Centre and the state government.
His appointment is significant for India’s technology ecosystem as NITI Aayog continues to play a central role in shaping national policy around artificial intelligence, digital public infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing, deep-tech innovation and emerging technologies. Jain is expected to drive the government’s long-term technology and economic transformation agenda while strengthening collaboration between industry, startups, academia and policymakers.
Accenture appoints India Market Unit Lead
Accenture has appointed Pradeep Prabhala as India Market Unit Lead, effective September 1, 2026, reinforcing the consulting giant’s focus on one of its fastest-growing strategic markets. In the role, Prabhala will lead Accenture’s India business, working closely with clients to accelerate AI adoption, cloud transformation and industry-specific digital reinvention initiatives.

A long-time Accenture executive, he has held multiple leadership positions across technology consulting and client services. His appointment shows the company’s continued investment in India as enterprise demand for generative AI, data modernisation, and managed services grows.
Jubilant FoodWorks loses CIO amid digital push
Jubilant FoodWorks, the operator of Domino’s Pizza and Popeyes in India, said Narottam Sharma, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, has resigned to pursue an external opportunity. Sharma played a key role in the company’s technology-led transformation, overseeing digital platforms, enterprise IT, cybersecurity and customer technology initiatives that supported Jubilant’s omnichannel growth strategy.
During his tenure, the company strengthened its digital ordering ecosystem and expanded technology-led customer engagement across brands. His resignation comes at a time when quick-service restaurant chains are increasing investments in AI, automation and data-driven customer experience. Jubilant FoodWorks has not yet announced a successor for the CIO role.
