Constl, a carrier-neutral digital infrastructure firm, has named Nidhi Pandey as its new chief information officer as the company ramps up investments in enterprise technology and digital transformation.

The appointment comes as Constl expands its AI-ready infrastructure business across India, supporting hyperscalers, telecom operators, data center operators, and cloud providers. Pandey will oversee technology initiatives spanning digital platforms, finance systems, operations support systems (OSS), and business support systems (BSS).

Scaling India’s digital backbone

Pandey’s role will focus on modernizing enterprise applications, strengthening technology governance, and deploying secure platforms to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. Her appointment aligns with Constl’s push to scale its pan-India fiber network and digital infrastructure platform, which the company says is critical to meeting demand in India’s fast-growing digital market.

“Strengthening secure, scalable, future-ready enterprise systems is a strategic priority,” Constl said in its announcement. The company, part of the Space World Group, provides connectivity solutions for hyperscalers, telecom operators, cloud providers, and content delivery networks, with a focus on building AI-ready network infrastructure.

Pandey’s background includes more than 20 years in telecommunications, technology, and enterprise IT. She previously held leadership positions at Bharti Airtel, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Vodafone Idea, Tata Communications, and Tech Mahindra, where she led digital transformation programs and IT strategy initiatives across multiple markets.

Leadership amid rapid expansion

In a statement, Pandey said she was “excited to join Constl at such a transformative stage of its growth journey.” She emphasized the importance of digital infrastructure in India’s AI-driven future and her commitment to strengthening the company’s technology capabilities.

Her responsibilities will include driving innovation and delivering scalable, secure platforms. Constl’s expansion comes as India’s digital infrastructure market continues to grow, with increasing demand for high-capacity networks and data center interconnectivity. The company’s fiber network already links major data centers across the country, positioning it to serve enterprise customers and cloud providers.

Pandey’s appointment reflects a broader trend in India’s tech sector, where companies are investing heavily in AI-ready infrastructure. While Constl’s focus remains on building out its network, the shift toward enterprise technology suggests a strategic pivot—one that could reshape how digital services are delivered in the region. For now, the company’s immediate priority is scaling its existing platforms while maintaining security and reliability.

Constl’s infrastructure supports a range of industries, from telecom to over-the-top (OTT) platforms. As AI adoption accelerates, the company’s ability to provide low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity will likely play a key role in its long-term growth.
